The essay film is part of the perform ative exhibition of the same name. It is based on drawings from Tanaka's j ourney into the contaminated exclusion zone of Fukushima. There\, radioact ive minerals brought to the surface from the depths of the earth have caus ed catastrophic and irreversible damage to the local ecosystem.
